Vision Research Studies

We are currently conducting research projects to investigate vision in infants, children, and adults. We are looking for term-born subjects, subjects with a history of premature birth, and subjects with a heritable retinal disease. For all of our studies, premature birth is defined as born at 32 weeks gestation or less, and full-term birth is defined as born at 37 weeks gestation or more.

Heritable retinal disorders that we study include congenital stationary night blindness (CSNB), X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS or XJR), Stargardt disease,
vitelliform dystrophy, retinitis pigmentosa, Leber congenital amaurosis, Usher syndrome, Bardet Biedl syndrome, Alagille syndrome, ocular albinism, achromatopsia, and cone-rod dystrophy. To learn more about these conditions, please visit Information for Patients & Families.

If you are interested in participating in one of our studies or would like to learn more about them, please contact us.
